Rewatching blue valentine for the 10th time brought me here..I first watched it in theaters back in 2010 with my husband, we were newlyweds, in our early twenties and had a newborn who was 2 months old at the time. We loved seeing indie films, and it was our first date out in awhile, so we left our son with my in laws the night we saw this movie and it was so real/raw made us both cry, it was just so overwhelming. As we sat in that theater, still so in love and at a good place in our tiny simple lives, little did we know something similar would happen to us, we’d fight a lot and grow apart in the future, and I’d do something horrible I could never take back and he would as well. Now in present time, we are still married and our son is now 8, and I’m sitting here crying thinking of all we’ve been through and how now it’s still hard sometimes and not perfect, I don’t expect it to be, but all of the good memories we do have now, help to void out the bitter past. Of all the times we’ve wanted to give up, we never did. Marriage IS for better, or for worse...and I couldn’t and still cannot imagine my life without him. We are now entering our 30’s and to still be at each other’s sides, is surreal to me. I thank god I met him. We would not have made it this far if we didn’t truly care or love each other anymore. If you ever read this.....I love you babe, thank you for being who you are and for loving me and not giving up.

I'm not really sure that they do. GB's mix of overly pristine and "poppy" elements with the more esoteric and abrasive bits should alienate most genre listeners. Despite this I have never perceived there being any particular hype backlash against them.

I CONNECT WITH THIS SHIT ON SO MANY LEVELS. Back when I used to robotrip all the time, I would listen to Horn of Plenty over and over again. Now whenever I listen to them sober, it makes me want to get back into robotripping.

It's a personal opinion but I think that this song could be much more magic if they recorded it otherwise, acoustic guitar and more volume for Rossen's harmony singing
