Green, Anthony - From What I Understand Lyrics

Love this song!

Anthony Green, i love your music. Don't ever stop.....

Before playing this song at a show during the Pixie Queen tour, Anthony talked about how Brendan is one of his best friends, then said this song is about/for him. By looking at the lyrics, this song seems to be about helping a friend who needs it but maybe doesn't want it. Knowing that Anthony has struggled with drugs and things in the past (I remember reading that he had a really dark time, but then some of his friends/bandmates intervened and helped him through it), maybe this is written from Brendan's POV?

Just a thought. Either way, this song really grew on me; didn't really care for it at first but now I can't get it out of my head! <3

Both of the new tracks are solid. Young legs took anthony's music in a different direction that I could appreciate, but couldn't get in to. This seems like a return to form.

+Mick Miles and I completely agree. good old war does help because I mean let's face it, it's hard to make a whole record by yourself, even with programs and shit. he's an amazing artist and a definite inspiration to me. I love and support everything he does. from the music he makes, to the battle he had with heroin. and being a parent as well. he's such an amazing person and very humble. if you ever get to meet him he's a great guy.

I feel the opposite. I immediately liked this one where as I thought "You'll Be Fine" sounded ok and that it would grow on me.
