Somebody please help me. Seems this song is about a guy that has been in love with a woman and it's only in his mind. I get this from the line, "though it hurts me so to let you know that I look in your eyes, to let me know how you feel." What's that all about?!?! Why would it hurt if she loves him? Then he says, "and I look in your eyes, and all the years I see me loving you and you loving me..." It's what he sees, not what's happening, except in his mind. He's wrapped up in her love, in spite of all this he's still in love with her. Makes me think of that Michael McDonald song.....What a fool believes.
