Music music music they can make music for a million years and they won't even come close to the 80's at this day and age we have no real music can anyone play instruments anymore in the 70's and 80's music was the very best they were extremely talented and had voices that could make your ears shatter and make a guitar talk that was talent these days they call talking singing and can't hear no instruments how sad. how sad enough said and no disrespect to anyone that doesn't agree but they just don't make music like they use to

Many many thanks for posting this. I heard this ONCE in my Corvette when I was cruising Westwood/West LA over 30 years ago. No back announcing by Jim Ladd that night. The only thing I could recall was "Street Killer". I still remember that riff and lyric. Many failed attempts to find this as I didn't even know the band or the song title. Yea, you're right; this was when GW was a metal band!

Just loved their sound on this album more thn anything tht came after although they've made a lot of excellent stuff since this album, fittingly black, just had such a darker heavier vide to it. Anyways I'd been thinkn of em since I just saw them at the boardwalk last night. They played 2 sets and in the middle of the second set their like "here's something from our first album!!" and they kicked into "Down on Y

All this before the days of total computer mapping of every note! This song reminds me of a scripture in Isaiah 54:16,17. "See it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame & forges a weapon fit for it's work, and it is I who created the destroyer to work havoc. But no weapon fassioned against you will prosper." God reigns over both light & darkness & brings forth light at His command! He even tells the destroyer where to go & what to do. And even the unclean spirits obey Him.

@jackluvzu Yeah man, i found this in oct. 2008 ( I believe?) and i played to my buddies when we were cruising around with a paintball gun blastin' shit and everyone loved it, they asked who it was and i told em 'Great White' and no one knew who it was hahaha I was like 15 or 16 the time.

I bought this cassette when it first came out and no one knew who Great White was. This album is unusually dark.....VERY dark and cool!
