Gray, David - In God's Name Lyrics
What in God’s name
Were we thinking of?
What in God’s name
Were we thinking of?
You’ve got to earn the right
Shouting the odds and everybody loves a good fight
Break in and move the furniture
Work on a kiss denied
Climbing the walls and everybody loves a good fight
Loves a good fight
What in God’s name
Were we thinking of?

Gray, David In God's Name Comments
Probably one of the best songs I've ever heard in my entire life.
Find it hard to understand what he's saying but lovey tune.
He's amazing...would be so much more popular if he sold out to the plastic people, cookie cutter, makeover machine...I respect him for being himself and resisting the commercial bullshit.
very underrated songwriter
Been a fan since I heard Gulls <3
2nd most PHENOMENAL composition. It certainly draws attention dancing, singing & while playing in my car (especially in traffic!). LOVE of David's dedication to his endeared friend & SO UPLIFTING!!!
