Ever since I viewed her AGT performance that she performed an original song on her ukulele and just completely fell in love with her and found her music to be so incredibly raw and captivating. Only being 12 at the time, I immediately knew she would rise to fame and do so very quickly. She has indeed. She's not only SUPER talented but she's so deeply attached to her music and she has such the abiltiy to express herself with lyrics that are sung so emotional and soulful. This girl's music should be that of an artist that has been successfully making music for years. It's incredibly how deep and emotional she portrays her vocals.
PLEASE GRACE: NEVER ever make music for ANYBODY or ANYTHING besides yourself. This is what the world needs to keep hearing

My English isn't that good so I write in Dutch: Meisje.. meisje.. meisje.. wat is dit ongelofelijk mooi, ik heb er ontelbare keren naar geluisterd en het wordt iedere keer mooier. Ik heb naar het origineel geluisterd maar jij zingt het anders, mooier, je gebruikt een noot die in het origineel niet voorkomt maar het juist zo mooi maakt ( 0.54/0.55 - 1.44/1.45 ). Ik ben echt diep onder de indruk en vind het bijna jammer dat je niet altijd 13 blijft want dat je hier zo jong bent maakt het des te indrukwekkender en ongelofelijker. It's nearly 2 years since I first saw this video. Every time I listen/watch, even today, I tear up. I know this is a cover and I have watched/listened to the original, but in this video Grace owns this song. I am not religious, but she is still singing my words of humility and apology for failing to be the best I could have been when I should have been. But can there be any human alive who can sing this song of redemption with so much heart and soul that it makes me/us believe that there is forgiveness and grace, better than Grace?!? What a gift Grace Vanderwaal is to us imperfect humans!!!

I know Grace only for a view weeks but listened already to a lot of her music and this song / cover made a big impression on me. She sings it so beautiful and her voice sounds a bit different, wich I like a lot. She isn't just a superb singer, she's also a voice artist and what really intrigues me is that her face transforms and look so mature when she sings the song, she's obviously into the song. Grace is a very intruiging person, I'm very curious how she will evolve.
( I'm not religious but if there will be a day I become religious I will convert to Christianity thanks to Grace and her cover of River :o))

If there was ever someone who was completely 100% cut out for a certain direction in life, it's her. I mean you have to factor in her age , which makes her singing/songwriting THAT much more incredible. She is hardly a high school student, yet she appears so well reserved in how she is carrying herself. Very Passionate and is FULL of heart and soul which shows every time she opens her mouth. You can't teach someone to be that way. She's truly a gem!
