I'm mixed about Grace. She definitely has maybe 23 songs that everyone should know. Her covers demand vinyl album purchase. She is SO good that it makes me feel like a music snob to know how underrated she is as the whole package. I want the world to realize, but I love how personal my connection to her is. lol this is whack and stuff, but I mean.. meowing to la vie en rose should be everyones favourite thing. her versions of everything are so intensely unique that its strange I see this face no more..

La Srta. Grace Jones nunca recibió el reconocimiento a nivel discográfico que se merecía. Ella es superior a Janis Joplin, Madonna y por supuesto a Annie Lennox. Sus temas eran muy avanzados para la época, creo que los medios comunicacionales así como todos los cantantes debiesen rendirle un tributo. Es mi opinión y me equivoco.

i see why this song didn't break through: her voice is too quiet in the mix, it's drowned out, and with it the words. Her songs always work from her personality, and when you can't hear that it doesn't work
