And who you got the idea of the song threw quen and joe osborn.i allready had recorded itl before and published it through my b.m.i. publishing company in nashville.also i had worked with charlie louvin many years.he was working the opry one saturday night. And didi my song on the opry that night dedicating it to my mother who was in the hospital.he sounded great on it and the audience loved it.and charlie said bobby thats a great song i would like to cut this i had to tell him my recording was beeing realised.porter waggoner asked charlievwhose song was that he told over the mike bobby mahons.so i have numerous ways aso to prove my ownership and authorship.also had radio play on it.and it was also picked to be one of th official homecoming 86 tennessee celebrations shows all throug tenessee also worked on dina shores homecoming show at winchester tennessee her hometown .and did the song.diana told me she loved it.i autagraphed an album for her.later she sent me a nice letter and thanked me for the copy of it i aso did the song allways on my shows all accros the us and canada.also did it on the british country music associations convention in nashvilleand through a dj that had aradio show on bbc network in london got radio play on itsaid he also got a lot of requests on it.aso did it on wsm radio when i worked the midnight jambore from the ernest tubb record shop.and the oprylandpark was selling my albums and also in opryland hotel.all this is just part of what ive done to establish my rights.i started in nashville in 1959..when i was twelve.i am also a life member of.local 257 afm in nashville.if you listen to my recording of tennessee your a lady you will here charlie mccoy and other a team musicians.i also played guitar on all the songs on my album.i also wrote all them to.except the blues song i did on it.gave to me by publishing company in canada.also have done two compleet tours of canada.also did tennessee your a lady there also on tv show i did there.so just wanted to let you know too.i never heard yours but had found out about it through some friends.finally heard it today.also found copy of your album in a goodwill store.justvwanted too let you know my background.i also have backed eight country music hall of fame members also opening up and also playing guitar.i have been blessed.everybody treated me nice.no horror stories except one.just to let you know.bobby mahan.aka robert w.mahon.have a nice day.

I've noticed Bobby goldsboro's since I was 12 years old and now I'm 62 and I still feel that he is one of the best ones out there and I'm discovering new music of his all the time and this is one that I've discovered within the last week or so and it is beautiful thanks to whoever is adding to his popularity again.

There is only one Bobby Goldsboro and I'm glad we have him and his music. A true gentleman, poet and singer! I love him now as I did then. Beautiful song.

What a beautiful song!! Bobby Goldsboro has been my favorite singer since I was a child. I finally got to see him in concert last March in St. Louis, MO. He was awesome just as I knew he would be. I waited 36 years to see him in person. It was the most exciting moment of my life.
