Production work of Feldy is everywhere nearly the same. This is like California on ska, and California is like adult 5 seconds Of Summer. Feldy is like one face actor from movies in producer role.

Why does everyone call John Feldman, Feldy? The guy is a veteran of the ska-punk, pop punk genre. And I apologize for saying, I guess - California sounds great and was very well produced...not over produced.

Yeah, Disconnection Notice was waaaay to vegan. Good sound at least tho. I like this, but Open Your Eyes is my favourite.

@Jesus Stomping Ground and Open Your Eyes are my favorites from GF.

@Jesus I don't see why Disconnection Notice is trash, at least Goldfinger still felt legit, it's literally a supergroup now.

Everything after the first two albums just felt so produced and cheesy and just wasn’t the same. I have always gone back to the first two albums, but I can’t remember the last time I played any other album the whole way through.

@Jesus I do get what you mean. Post-Hang-Ups I still love (at least up until DN) but it's nowhere near as creative or unique, it's mostly just catchy pop-punk. It's very good catchy pop-punk, some of the best of that genre, but by the standards Goldfinger set with the first two albums, Stomping Ground onwards absolutely pales in comparison.

Stomping Ground and Open Your Eyes I did listen to a couple times, they’re ok. Open Your Eyes is a great song. Just wasn’t the same after that and I stopped paying attention.


I actually hung out with them watching Sex Pistols live when I was like 12 lol.
