Both agree and disagree. There's also tunes like Art Of Dying that they pull off, this isn't much harder than that. Only bit I really think might be a struggle for people playing live is those tight snare rolls in that main riff

Love their newer guitar tones. Lower gain which gives it a bigger punch :)

Nirvana Rin Tin They still had a fuck ton of gain in this album, with the guitars being sort of similar to the way of all flesh. I think you're referring to magma, where they toned down the gain and also the guitar layering (which I personally didn't like).

When I found this song I was actually quite upset because I didn't know there was a deluxe edition of this album and I own the standard edition. Now I need to find a deluxe edition. But this song is perfect, man.

Where do you hear those time signatures? I don't hear them at all.

Nick, I think he's talking about the drums, which are changing time signatures at the end of each line in the second verse, while the guitars, bass and vocals seem to be sticking to 4/4 (with some off-tempo parts, but not actually changing time-signature). Listen at "Myself away so long, I've been refusing to feed" and just as it gets to the "re" in "refuse" you can hear the drummer going chaotic on the hat and then filling across the whole kit like 30 times in a couple seconds...... and it is in 3/8, though I'm not hearing 5/16....

At 00:17 and 3:24 there is a bar of 5/16, ending in the pick slide.
