Gojira - The Link Lyrics
He who learns must suffer
I want to protect myself let others
Dream, I run to a better place
Hell, illusions, see
This state of me unconscious
Want to undertake to feel my soul
I want to build some fire
Burn myself
I decide what I see
Call my name, I'll be there for you
Wrong and right
I want to create things
Beyond, insight
I want to build some fire
Run to myself, dive
Find a link between wrong and right
Understand, you create what you are
Be the link, you are what you create
And now comes fire
Left and right connected
Call my name I'll be there
I am there for you now
Understand, you create what you are

Gojira The Link Comments
I ain't creating nothing with this caged free will
Gotta love that sound production!
Just learned how to play this on guitar all the way through. One thing for sure about this tune (and many other Gojira tunes) is that it's very dynamic. A lot of the subtle parts are what make its chemistry dynamic
Ending section could be in a Nile song, which is awesome uwu

What Proust did for literature, Gojira does for music
Soooo gooooood!
For anybody who is interested, this is from the remaster done in 2005, it's not the original. The original sounds much better in my opinion.
0.50 riffs fucking badass. Joe vocal in this song sound a lil bit max cavalera vocal. Fucking kickass!

@Álvaro Cáceres Muñoz yyoouuuuuuu
This song reminds me of the Gorguts album Obscura.
Gorguts Obscura doesn't sound remotely familiar
Wow I just found this song on itunes, and what i noticed is that the voice/vocal in the beginning of the song sort of sounds just like the seeker from Farcry 4, pretty awesome I would say
that on point wood block banging
The intro sounds like the art of dying.. (I know this came out before that)
It felt more like a build up to embrace the world to me, like the vibe of the album kinda.
I guess it's not ripping-off, if you're ripping off yourself xD
They do these types of songs from time to time, link, art of dying and pray all follow a similar structure
The art of dying has the same drummer play drums on that song
@shatteredsquare I imagine that's sarcastic. Please, tell us there are absolutely no similarities with songs that open with clicky clacky (idk what the instrument they use is for them) rhythm paterns, followed by the same rhythm pattern being played by the band, followed by a verse, then followed by a chorus of sorts, leading to the verse again all culminating in stops followed up by intense riffing breakdowns.
The Link from the Legend of the Zeldas?
