I've saw Godsmack and Sully solo, the best performer to walk this Earth. He sounds the exact same live and has great energy. Like if you agree Sully Erna is one if not the best musician on Earth.

The lyrics seem to be describing someone who is in the process of being awakened. Am I wrong?

It's more like world music than anything else. It's got some celtic and tribal things going on as well. Check bands like Dead Can Dance (Sully's favorite band) if you are into this type of music.

@rambo00rock17 You are wrong!!! The best voice belonged to DIO (R.I.P.). And in my opionion Coverdale has a better voice. Don't get me wrong I love Metallica and Megadeth and SOAD I even visited the Sonisphere festival in Sofia where Metallica Megadeth Slayer and Anthrax played (AM I EVIL FTW SO MUCH EPICNESS!!!!!1111!).

Ever since Avalon was released and I bought it, I haven't been able to stop playing it. It reminds me of so much, brings out interesting emotions and thoughts, gets me through my long drive to and from work. When I hit shuffle on my iPod I get bored and go back to be trapped (in a good way) with listening to Avalon. Lisa Guyer is awesome and I'm glad they collaborated for his album :)

@rambo00rock17 dave mustane doesnt really use much of a voice, more grunt-like singing. Don't get me wrong i like Megadeth, just sayin' he doesn't have much variety in his singing style. James labrie of dream theater is one of my top favorite singers.

after listening to this song and sinner's prayer, I now place Sully Erna right up there with Jim Morrison as one of the greatest poets to ever live. With this new album, Sully has just blown me away. Jim Morrison, to me, is Legendary when it comes to writing music and now it is the same with Sully. He is just incredible.
