Not bad. Certainly no worse than the original. The vocal drums "ba-ba-ba-ba" business is a bit off-putting, but the rest of the song seems better done than the original, so it all balances out. It's not exactly an easy song to do well, given that it's pretty sloppily written. Given the source material, Glee did this song about as well as it's possible to do it.

I love to sing this song for karaoke. It is a cheesy song, but most music from the 1980s is corny and overproduced. I was born in the 80s and I can remember a lot of music from my early childhood and I don't understand what so many people like about it.

I could listen to this over and over. Glad they cut out that random third verse and the talking part.

yeah, it was marvellously epic and quite good and all that, but where the "bum bum bum bum" parts REALLY necessary? talk about pulling the guts and glory out at the EXACT wrong time!

God awful. Could only make it to 1:13. Did I miss anything? I'd like to see what they did with the traffic report clip but I can't sit through another minute and a half of this to find out. The original song (like a lot of 80s music) is cheesy and over-produced, but also catchy and unique. Something you wouldn't want to listen to every day but maybe you'd enjoy hearing on the radio every couple of months or whatever. This is just a bad cover. Back to the drawing board with this one, Glee.

every time I hear this song I want to cry.... this was my freshman year marching band show opener... every time I hear it, I get flashbacks to band camp and throughout the season and remember the fun I had with my seniors...😭😭😭 I love this song because it brings good memories, but I miss those memories so much ....
