I think they mean they miss the old Glee, since, as much hate as I'll get for saying this, season 4 is pretty terrible. I was a devoted Gleek, I loved seasons 1-3, so don't start yelling "Well then why are you here?!" at me, I just think the quality has gone down quite dramatically. Season 1 was a great time. :')

To be honest, I agree. I loved every single episode up until Big Brother. Anything after that just felt like it was going downhill, and it saddens me.

Only 6 years late for a reply. Yes. haha.
I took vocals for a couple years, my music teacher was like "we are singing over the rainbow but GLEE version"
I was shocked and sad, then I heard it and loved both equally. This song just felt so nice to sing because i'm a Tenor/Bass but he sings mostly in one key.

Israel kamakawiwo'ole uses more of his vocal range, which I have, but singing in pure tenor for me brings me joy.

@highflyingbourne Oops sorry. I knew that the Glee version of "Hand" was taken from "Across the Universe" but I still do not like this idea of taking upbeat pop songs and turning into slow dirges....Susan Boyle did the same thing to the Monkees "Daydream Believer".

@highflyingbourne Well excuuuuuuuuuuseee me that I do not like this trend of rearranging classic songs to make them sound "modern" whether it's "Glee" doing this to "Over the Rainbow", or "Glee" taking the Beatles "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and turning it into a dirge, or Susan Boyle turning the Monkees "Daydream Believer" into a dirge.
