To think that this is one of the last songs to feature the ninth member of the group to be honest is haunting. Considering that a month after this is released, she gets kicked out of GG possibly because her former band-mates parents were concerned that their daughters are earning less than her since she actually started her own business & was using her name & reputation in SNSD (GG) to promote it & all. The parents of 8 of the members thought their kids would face an uncertain future financially since they were the ones managing their daughters money & approached SM telling them to do something about it. Those parents may not have wanted to hurt her but they probably wanted to secure their kids financial future. I came across this speculation in a All K-POP forum blog a few days back. Just type in "SNSD's parents involved in Jessica leaving?" & you will get the point.

Chain reaction another catchy song love these 9 ladies in Girls' Generation so amazing gorgeous love there music dancing outfits singing. Found new songs that I haven't heard yet yeah and all that.

Everyone except Jess raps?! I expected her to rap a little bit since it was a song I havent heard before. If there are any japanese songs where Jess rapped in, please send me the song names and I'm outta here & getting on my way.

Korean:
1. Visual Dreams (her biggest rap part with 4 lines)
2. Look at me (1 big line)
Japanese:
1. flower power (a pair of two liners with sunny)
2. Beep Beep (1 big line)
I don't know how many other songs has she rapped in, for all I know it could be just the tip of an iceberg for me, which is why I am requesting if anyone else knows any GG songs which featured Jess's rap other than these send me a list of these songs so I won't spend my time binge watching since I hate doing it.

Keerthivasan Nambiraju depends really on what ur definition of rapping is tbh. Except maybe look at me I don’t thinks she ever rapped in those other songs

@Zyxxz Isn't rapping supposed to be talking along with the music with emotion instead of singing?, of course there are many types of rapping including cute rapping & love rap which can be similar in nature. I especially like it if the girl/girls do the rap & I'm a guy by the way. I know a rap when I hear one. Have you listened to the songs that I have already mentioned here?

Does Tae really sing the Chain Reaction prts in the intro/beginning? It sounds the same as Kesha's so I don't think she does, but I can be wrong as well. Anyways, I love this song, it's so addictive.

They didn't. This was recorded for Kesha. When producing an album they record dozens of songs but only a fraction make the final cut. The rest are often left on the cutting room floor, but a potential hit (that just didn't fit the album) will be shopped around. SM bought this (along with Run Devil Run) for SNSD.

James Cobalt Well, RDR wasn't Kesha's, she just recorded the guide/demo ver so the original writers can show the song and sell it(in this case, to SM)

but i just don't like sooyoung and sunny covering jessica's parts because now sunny has trembling voice and well sooyoung has this kind of voice too
yuri and hyoyeon hasn't sweety or powerful voices to cover it correctly
yoona well everyone knows that there's a reason why she get less lines that the other 8 or 7 members in all snsd albums
taeyeon & seohyun are good in cover jessica's parts but of course jessica has a lot of english lines so at the end tiffany seems the best option even if her voice isn't the best in SNSD

Not about sweet voice But Jessica's voice is better suited to " bad girl, motorcycle, & paparazzi" more than Tiffany it all !!!! Remember, she's just a cover! But she is never like Jessica.

Josué I completely agree. Tiffany isn't suited to cover for Jessica but since she's the only one with fluent English I guess they give them to her. However, Seohyun does not do a bad job at doing so. She's been getting Jessica's adlibs in songs like MrMr and Hoot, which is good. Sunny has always had that wobbly voice, I don't like it that much.

Jessica has sung Wonderland and Fly a few times live, but I mean Jessica's career as a vocalist isn't her main concern. Honestly her best songs were Genie, ITTNW, RDR, and IGAB. Even The Boys was either done really well, or just apathetically (that is not even attempting the F#5 which is in her supported range I believe...) She did Mr Mr pretty well, but she's not putting the support in her voice at higher ranges nowadays in technical term. But I gotta agree, Tiffany isn't Jessica; their voices are so different. At this point I'd say Taeyeon is really the only one who's been improving tremendously - most likely due to SM putting huge emphasis on her voice for her Solos.

She didn't make it for SNSD. It was made for her, but didn't make the cut, so it was sold to SM. Pretty standard stuff.

@Marcello Manuel Possibly. An MTV article suggested otherwise but it's quite possible it was wrong. They're not exactly known for their journalism. Kesha recorded it in 2008, during which she was doing both demo recordings for various songwriters (who shop their songs to record labels like SM) and building out her tracklist for her debut album, Animal. She purportedly tried over 200 songs for the album before settling on the 14 that made the cut. A lot but not unheard of; recording artists often have two or three unused tracks for every one that makes the cut.

Either way it doesn't change the fact that SNSD and most SM Entertainment acts are strictly performers, so it doesn't really matter where the music comes from. They're singers, dancers, and absolute masters of PR; they're not songwriters and producers (even if they sometimes get a track credit for contributing adjustments to lyrics). So not sure why anybody cares much... Enjoy it for what it is.
