I was in a wreak a while ago. I was driving down the road when my horse trailer hit a bump. My truck jerked back and I crashed into a field on the side of the road. The doctor said the only reason I'm still alive is because the trailer came unhitched. If it would have still been attached that it would have snapped my truck in half. The three horses died, but I'm glad I'm still here.

To any of you listening to this and thinking it won't happen to you: think again. Today I was in a wreck. I was told I shouldn't be alive. I was inches from death. If the car had a been a few inches to the right, they said I would've died on impact. For some reason, God let me live. I'm gonna treasure every opportunity He gives me.

This song made me cry when I first heard it and I tear shed a few when its mute in the house while the song dance in my head. See I was in a car accident that I don't remember and my Doctors said I never will, nor will I remember the person I was, or some of the people in my life at that time. I'm just thankful that I remember my mom,dad, brothers, sisters and my ex-husband. I still get frustrated when people from my past approach me and I don't know who they are. Ok I getting sad now. Back to the music at hand.

This song is amazing it takes me back to when me and buddy corey where in his truck goin fishin and we where goin around a curve and this black Honda comes out of no where in our lane and was inches from a head on collision and I had my life flash before my eyes but im glad god was lookin out for us cause my buddy swerved into the other lane and this all happened in seconds and I was cryin afterwards and I look my life differently and how life could change in an instant and I thank god every day for letting me live today and I do my best to serve him and people in my  life and do good ill never for get that day. Well, this evening I was riding my fourwheeler with my friend and I come around a curve atleast doing 30mph and I swung out to far and centered the right front tire on a tree. We didn't have helments on either, but me and my friend r still here. my knees r killing me though.

Man i like Gilbert. I mean seriously I'm into Ozzy and AC/DC and Maiden and Black Sabbath, ect. And i don't like much country but i like his guy. This is a beautiful song and i'm glad he found God because God is amazing and everyone needs him.

so tonight on my way to work i hit a patch of ice and i lost control of my truck ended up going in the ditch when i hit the embankment on the other side ended up upside down man that shit really makes you think about life differently

This song hits me good cause about 2 months ago me and buddy of mine were cooming back from school and it was raining and i got on my street and i hydro planned and hit a tree going about 45 maybe even faster and the air bags deployed when the ambulance got there he said at the way we hit the tree and at the speed we were going we were 2 tough kids i am just thankful to still be here and live on and thank you to Brantley Gilbert for being my country music inspiration

This just makes me even more blessed that this "city boy" has a beautiful country girl who completes his life.

I used to drink a ton, and I sniffed 24 pills cut into 6 long lines and drank a fifth of Vodka, sniffed all the pills and smoked seriously good pot (Which intensifies alcohol times 3) and I drove and almost killed myself and my best friend....she's no longer on this Earth, but not because of me.

I thought doing stupid shit like that was what "YOU ONLY LIVE ONCE" meant....now I know the truth. I'm glad I didn't hurt anyone, and I learned to live without those things (except alcohol)

Steven Pierce Ain’t it strange how many times you should of been killed, but God had his Angels 👼🏼 guarding you everywhere? I was a non-believer who thought 30 was stretching it as being the age I didn’t plan or think I’d live past. I grew up in San Diego, we started sneaking to Hollywood to see music at 16, and to Tijuana where there was no drinking age then and it was nothing to cross the border and back. Early 80’s. I was born in Alabama, which I moved back to in 89. Had super fun out here, running back roads and you know. Crazy stuff lol In 2003 I was in college on account I lost my textile plant job to NAFTA and the government has to retrain you, they provide an associate degree. I was in school at the computer lab doing some essays and the HolySpirit just got in me. I wasn’t asking for or praying 🙏🏼 or in church. It was forced on you out here and made me not like God on account they represented spirituality wrong by smothering it with religious hypocrisy. I sure am glad God has taught me and not man. Long story short (impossible for a southerner:) It has been 15 years about now, since I got the holyghost. I love the heavenly host and I see now that no matter what crazy stuff we got into in the past, God had a plan for me on down the road and kept me safe and protected by not just regular angels, but Arch Angels at times. My family even turned against me at first just like the book says. Everything was lining up with how Old Testament prophets were treated. I spent years learning and being a loner. No relationships even. Jesus has been such a wonderful friendly friend. 💞🙏🏼🕊 Sorry, it still blows my mind somewhat. Oh, and people think I’m crazy! Even church people. They have completely messed up my Father’s business down here! I believe God wanted us to go through the drug stuff to open up our mind and have empathy. I was always an empathetic when I used to be on H. You see a lot of sad 😔 pitiful situations, you go to the underbelly of the society. Like the UnderPressure song with Queen & David Bowie, he sings “caring about the people on the edge of the night” yeah. Or such. “Knowing what this world is all about, watching some good friends say, LET ME OUT!” I’m fixing to listen to it! Take care and sorry I talked a lot, I am so quiet and communing with the spirit, so much, that is one thing not having someone to relate to you and understand this. I get visions too! But, prepare your survival skills and be ready for what is coming! I’m not being paranoid, it’s just there is no way for things to go but downhill! Politics can’t take care of anything and these news channels run by billionaires don’t have much sense either. Discernment of the false preachers, prophets, and clerics. They are rampant just like it says they would be. I’m not telling you not to drink, but I do know that “drinking” like my buddy’s that drink, it totally blocks their mind and mostly spiritual self from any HolySpirit supernatural signs and communications. 🕊😇💞💫 May God open any 👁 eyes and ears 👂 and I pray he turns on a bunch of light switches on a multitude of peoples! Since, I have gone through this training by God , now I can pass the knowledge to others without them having to endure many years in the fire 🔥 7x hotter and in very uncomfortable situations made to get one out of any comfort zones and to walk blindly into your future by faith only and trusting God to get you where you are to end up! It was hard to like quit my job of 10years. But, now i am healthy that high stress bullying atmosphere had me popping Xanax for years! I have not took any for over 3 1/2 years! Many are called by God, but they don’t grow spiritually or learn obedience, or walking in faith. They stay stuck in the comfort zone, relying only on themselves. I sure do pray and hope God will enlighten many! I can’t wait to get back home and on with eternal living. year ago today i was in a bike crash i was drug 30 yards down the road broke my arm 4 of my ribs drs said i wouldn't make it through the night this song really makes me stop and think how thankful i am to be alive

Brantley is one of the few artists out there who can still make me cry with some of the songs that he sings...I'm going to one of his concerts this summer, I can't wait I love him and his music so much.

i had the same thing happen but i hadnt been drinking at all just driveing stupid and i paid for it i flipped my truck 8.5 times without my seatbelt on and woke up in the back seat soo scary but amazinly god was with me he had to of been cuz i should be dead but i was out and wlking around before anyone was there to help thank god for sparing my life and tht i wasnt ejected i was also going way to fast and i thank eveyone that was there for me even ppl i didnt know were there to help me.

I have to totally agree with every word of this song, I am a burn survivor that was revived twice, so when he says you live your life a better man being halfway to heaven, it really makes you want to be a better person, you want to live your life in a total different way.

i flipped my truck 2 weeks ago dodging a deer on a dirt road, i had my best friend with me when it happened, she had on her seat belt i didnt, she escaped with just a couple bruises and a bump on the head, i got tossed around broke my collar bone, lost my job, my truck, and almost lost my life, this song has such a deep meaning to me, until that night i had questions about God's existence now there is no doubt he kept me here for a reason

thats why no matter what if id been drinking and drove id never let someone else in the car with me, if i die it doesnt matter to me but with my luck id get in an accident and my passenger would end up dead and id be alive.

I was in a car accident a few months back. I had been at a party, made some stupid decisions that almost cost me and my 3 friends our lives. This song has helped me get threw it. I can't go a day without remembering the day we almost died. 2 of those friends don't speak to me anymore, one out of spite. The other because of the accident. I wish he knew how sorry I was for this. If he gave me 5 mins to tell him I'm sure he'd change his point of view. Ill never forget that Friday night.

I just got back from boot camp and my buddy broke one of his ribs and we gave him pills and he thought I would be funny to over do is pill and got very high and died for 30 mins and they zapped him back he was halfway to heaven.....;(
