Christian Hardcore and MetalCore have THE BEST bands. Hands down.

you have to get used to it. If by "type" of music you mean metal. Try softer bands like Killswitch or Emery first.

Nice! Northlane are so good! I not sure what genre I'd class them. Listen to Demoraliser, Napoleon and Heart Of A Coward (they're more metlacore with a unique style)! Worth listening :) Really good UK bands!

Agreed man. This is Melodic Hardcore. Definitely my favorite type if you ask me.

Metalcore is the halfway point between Hardcore and Metal, It draws influences from both sides, so.... It doesn't really matter. Although, this leans more on the hardcore side than the metal side. Reminds me a bit of Terror, who is undisputedly hardcore. Actually Vocally its almost identical to Terror. So Everyone needs to pull their britches out of their bum.

I dig what you're saying. But hardcore is punk, and punk is all about being much, much different than EVERYTHING the world is about. As the world changes, punk changes and thus hardcore. The sound of hardcore has evolved, or developed & broadened if you will. From BAD BRAINS, D.O.A., BLACK FLAG & MINOR THREAT, to this metallic rock n roll sounding hardcore. Surely much less rebellious & counter cultural. Music is music, but hardcore punk is & always shall be outside the "world" of music.
