I don't think Robin's solo work was even released in US. The Saturday Night backlash was so extreme that no DJ would have dared play the Bee Gees or any one of them solo. It got really nasty. It went way past disliking a few songs that a band played to an extremely mean and very personal level. An axe murderer might have merited the abuse piled on to the Bee Gees but probably not. Everything was fair game: voices, haircuts, looks, family, personality etc. And it crossed the line so as to be downright cruel sometimes. I'd feel no particular urgency to return to the US if I were them.

They were, but, his songs were more successful in other countries. His highest charting single in the US is his cover of Oh Darling by The Beatles

My memory of '80s is not without a few gaps, I admit.
