Why does it really matter what you call it? I would not be offended if someone called this metal. The whole sub genre maze is absolutely annoying. Music is music it only has a genre because you give it the name, but what your ears hear is really all that matters.

a ghost inside is metal core? get yours right you hear that break down around 1:20 where the rythm guitarist plays that sound? this is from metal. The break downs like around 2:10 is what makes it metal core because it is a comination of sound between hardcore and metal. As far as STYG listen to their first two albums... they are metal core they arent anything even close to "hardcore" they try after their first two albums but they are metal core. but theres nothing wrong with that, metalcore^

To most people, most "heavy" genres sound the exact same. I listen to a hell of a lot of different bands, and for the most part, I can't tell the damn difference between "hardcore", "metalcore", and whatnot.
