I remember listening to Fab 5 Freddy, Rick James, Sugar Hill Gang, KRS One, Run Dmc and King Asiatic Nobody's Equal. Hell, I was listening to Rap music in it's infancy...

1st off, The Geto Boys we’re pure entertainment, just like any horror movie & anyone who sees otherwise is an idiot in my opinion, remember at 13 years old purchasing the original Geto Boys tape Making Touble after discovering the classic self titled Geto Boys tape & yes 98% of this album sounded like Run DMC but this album indeed planted the seeds for the Geto Boys signature sound 1st with the Scarface samples fully displayed on the classic track Balls & My Word & along with the groundbreaking/ 1st horror-core classic, Prince Johnny C’s Assassins & for those two original blueprints/seeds to what the classic Geto Boys would famously become, They deserve to be recognized as innovators in Geto Boys history, so thanks to all the Geto Boys for the music.
