Musically this is top notch. I cant even pinpoint what it sounds like... Super original track. Maybe some elements of Jackson Browne, Paul McC, and Hall & Oates in there somewhere.

A legend artist and I am English, his music will stand the test of time, dad had all his songs when I was little, I can still remember Baker Street and this tune like it was yesterday.

This song just reminded me of my old cat Matt, an adorable friendly ginger thing. He got run over on the avenue and I watched the light in his eyes glaze over - so unfortunate, I never blamed the driver, sad though, even people who aren't fond of cats thought that little guy was cool. Rest In Peace buddy. He really was a credit to the feline race.

Odd how so very positive and hopeful the lyrics are when he had such a troubled and tormented life. Thank you, Gerry. Such a wonderful career .... this being one of the best tracks ever.

Sad to say I didn't appreciate this guy until now..and I was a teen in his heyday of music writing and singing. I liked his songs then but didn't appreciate him or them. What a shame to lose him to alcohol.

Decent song but too repetitive and I didn't hear any key change in the bridge section which is not a good thing. You can skip around in the song and it sounds like it is in the same key the entire song.
