Someone said "no man is all good & no man is all bad & to all of us this is true" , for me no one personifies this more than Jones , he caused himself & so many others so much Pain & misery ..............BUT also through all that . brought so many others hope , someone to identify with & a reason not to care if your called a loser , cos Jones was always called a loser ...............if george is a loser ? ...........he made something out of it & used it to give something to others , so no matter how bad a person maybe ..............they still are human & have something good to offer , Just like Old george did


See George met a good woman (Nancy) , oh no she didnt save him , she was much smarter than all that.............she made him save himself & thats all any of us can do, hey George was old when it finally came to him ............dont lose hope ............he didn't

This album should have sold millions of copies, the entire thing is a masterpiece. It would have if radio just played decent music instead of pop trash!

I'm very sorry for your loss Ann. My family and I have lost my husbands mother, stepdad and his only niece since March. I think about each one of them every day. I have lost my dad, 2 brothers and a sister since 2009!!! Had 2 sisters before I was born to pass away. It's been really hard on my Mother who will be 84 years old the 15th of this month. GOD IS THE ONLY REASON SHE IS STILL HERE AND HELPS HER TO BE STRONG AND CONTINUE TO CARRY ON. GOD BLESS YOU AND I WILL SEND UP PRAYERS FOR YOU.

Most people say "He Stopped Loving Her Today" is the greatest country song ever recorded, but I contend that because of George's voice at 68 and this song written and produced by Keith Stegall, this may very well be the best country song ever recorded. What makes this even more astounding is that these "working vocals".

I am a Vietnam Vet. I was over twice in the early & mid 60's. As a result of exposures to Agent Orange, Asbestos, leads & other jungle related fungus & no telling what all, I brought those exposures home to my whole family. Those exposures, at the most intimate time of our marriage & having kids, caused the deseases that eventually took her. I and my ywo sons now suffer from the same. War & it's results are hell & our Govmnt, don't seem to care. Really a shame but all Vets suffer the same.Thanks

Im 34 and have a wife with 4 wonderful kids but when i here this i feel like a little 8 year old kid again! playing in grandmas pasture on a spring day and just loving life.

One of my all time favorites of his. Every time I hear it, I smile & tear up at same time. I close my eyes and still see the love of my life watering some flowers on a beautiful sunny day, smiling and at peace, and very happy, not long before his sudden death. For a person to be able to sing a song so well, it sends you to such a place is truly gifted..which is George Jones. Thanks!
