This song has no meaning in mine and my wifes relationship...but to hold her close while we danced and assure her that I could never leave or be without her. My heart was never ready, even when she passed away after 51 years. I'd give anything to hold her now and say " I'm still around cause I'm not ready yet." My love for her will never die. Some day I'll go but I will be joining her on the other side. What a day that will be. I'm still around honey and still as in love as the day we met.

George and others like Tammy, Merle, etc lived their music. People like Garth and Shania etc was told to record country music by managers when they didn't make it as Pop and Rock singers.
