George Jones - Hello Darlin' Lyrics
Hello Darlin'
Nice to see you
It's been a long time
You're just as lovely
As you used to be.
How's your new love
Are you happy
Hope your doin' fine
Just to know it
Means so much to me.
What's that Darlin'
How am I doin'
Guess I'm doin' alright
Except I cant sleep
What I'm trying to say is
I love you and I miss you
And I'm so sorry
That I did you wrong.
Look up Darlin'
Let me kiss you
Just for old time sake
Let me hold you
In my arms one more time.
Thank you Darlin'
May God bless you
And may each step you take
Bring you closer
To the things you seem to find.
Goodbye Darlin'
Gotta go now
Gotta try to find a way
To lose these memories
Of a love so warm and true
And if you should ever find it
In your heart to forgive me
Come back Darlin'
I'll be waitin' for you.
Goodbye Darlin'...

OH OH OH LOVING LOVNG!!!!!OH OH BEAUTIFUL.GIVES ME GOOSE BUMBS JUST ALL OVER ME.OH.WOW.
Awesome
now wasnt that great
The look on Conways wife's face was heartbreaking. She looked so lost. You can see how hard it was for George to get through it, but I don't know how he did it at all. He's such awesome talent. A legend singing about a legend.
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻🙏😍😍😍😍😍😢😢😢😢😢😢💕💖❤️😇💞😊🥰😍👍🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
I miss you dad 💙💔💙
Jones does a fair job but. Conway Twitty owns this song. I use to see women throw their panties up on stage when Conway performed. If Conway hadn't died at such an early age George Strait may not have had the most number 1 hits. George is struggling with this song.
Ladies & Gentlemen, MOTHA FU--IN' GEORGE JONES !!!
Need i say more? If u insist. But... Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?
I remember watching this on TV. It was quite an emotional performance. Now you should go watch Vince Gill trying to sing when George passed.
He is a legend!
No one beats George Jones. Saw him in concert in the early 80’s. The greatest
EN JÄTTEFIN GAMMAL GODING
Can't get enough of George Jones. 2019 he continues to simply be the best and the very best.
I don't think anyone can sing this better. How do you top the BEST?
RIP George/Tammy/Conway. George and Tammy..... are together forever now. True love never dies.....they loved each other till the end. God rest all your souls and thank you for the memories/songs each of you left for us to enjoy
His words say what I feel
Tribute concert for Conway Twitty.
"Hello Darlin'" is a song written and recorded by American country music artist Conway Twitty. It was released in March 1970 as the first single and title track from the album Hello Darlin.
Right after Conway passed. you can feel the sadness and remembrance in the air
Beautiful...
I don't listen to the so called Country music of today, because it simple doesn't compare to the music of the 60s and 70s.
One of my fave rate songs
This is real country, the song George and Tammy it’s real.
When Conway wrote and sang the song, Darlin was a former lover. When George sang it, Darlin was Conway
Wow, this song is about Tammy , George nailed it.
Can I like this ifinity?
Sorry people he Loved Tammy even when he was married to nancy.every time he sang with Tammy he would kiss her.she was his true LOVE GEORGE ASKED TAMMY IF SHE WAS HAPPY.THEN SHE ASKED HIM IF HE WAS HAPPY HE SAID NO.AND I BELIVED HE WAS MARRIED TO NANCY.THAY JUST NEEDED SOME ONE NANCY LOVED IT DONT FORGET GORGE JONES.THE LIGHT MONEY BELIVE SHE IS HAPPY SHE WAS LEFT WITH A GOOD LIFE.GOOD MONEY.BUT WHAT ABOUT GEORGE KID"S.THINK ABOUT IT.TAMMY AND GEORGE TRUELE LOVE EACH OTHER.THERE PEOPLE THAT LOVE EACH OTHER BUT ARE NOT TOGETHER
BUT TAMMY AND GEORGE ARE TOGETHER FOR EVER.
George Jones was the only living person that could ever own this song <3
Barbara Pacelli I feel that George is singing this to Tammy because he never stopped loving her nor she him until their last breath.
I love you!!!!!!!!
rest in peace possum
True words all
I believe he was thinking about Tammy when he sang this song.
Like everybody in the building that night, I was missing Conway too. I still do to this day.
Wow...I like Hard Rock but George Jones ,turned a Black Sabbath fan in too good old country music
I don't know why people don't realize that George Jones dearly loved his wife Nancy this woman stuck with George for 30 years they both loved each other very much
Pure country!😍💛🙂
wat a great talent gone but not forgotton r.i.p possum
I believe this took place in 1999. Tammy Wynette died in 1998. I would imagine Tammy was on George's mind.
Net die beste👌🏻
ONLY George Jones could sing THIS!!!!!
The KING!!!!
ONLY George could NAIL this one.
He sings it as if HE wrote it, AMAZING!!!
I remember this vividly. Before he finished the first line I was blubbering like a baby.
What a great song by a great singer. If you have a minute please watch my tribute for four of the greatest male real country music singers of all time Merle, George, Johnny and Conway. Country Music Died Today https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQhK2HuwRGE
Thanks George only you or Conway could make me cry luv ya both.
I miss real Country music like this
what a man love him
I remember seeing this live and getting very verklempt when he sang the first line.............
Hank Williams love sick blues
Pure talent
These people were real pros and dressed like it. None of them came on stage looking like bums like they do now.
He is a awesome singer
just fab r,i,p george real country singers at its best
The end of this song made my eyes leak!
I wish conway and George had a duet That would of been awesome
imagine trying to sing a conway song, singing it in front of all those talented people, singing it in remembrance for conway right after conway's death while conway was your friend, that's gotta be nearly impossible
Agreed. But not for George.
Only George could do that song that good for Conway.
This song breaks me... 😢
Always loved this song😢💗 Conway🌅George🌄🌹🌹🌹
That's a special person old George Jones no one will ever sing as he did R.I.P u will be missed
I grew up listing to George nobody will take his place rest in peace George see
I grew up listing to George nobody will take his place rest in peace George
Seeing George get emotional during this song shows the impact of Conway’s loss, and seeing Mrs. June Carter with tears in her eyes really pulled at my heart-strings. Conway was a class act, and will remain so for generations to come.
What a voice!!!!!!
George Jones is the reason I hate modern country music. People like Jones, Cash, and Conway, had a good sound and soul that came from the heart and life. But like must country "artist" of today is so generic that I can put on ten different sounds from ten different jackasses and it will all sound the same.
hands down its cant get no better than this. Never thought a human being could steal this from Conway but George did a masters job on it.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😢🍻
the people who disliked this you should be ashamed. George was singing one of his friends songs not to long after he died. if it were me I would not of been able to do it without crying and breaking down. you people disappoint me its a shame
The best and always will be rip Mr Jones ur the first and last musician I will listen to ty
George you sang it Beautiful.
love every song on this list most of all conway .lottery. Georg Jones
one great singing tribute to another great
we will all meet on that BEAUTIFUL SHORE
William Tinta 8
love both versions but I'm huge George Jones fan so i like his more
I love you so much I missed you
I loved Conways version, especially the video when he's singing it to Loretta with Ernest Tubb ............but the hurt and pain and heartbreak that George shares with us in this rendition just tears your heart out . George feels life and breathes it into every word.
wow love George
George Jones did an excellent re-edition of Hello Darlin. There's no other artist I'd like hear try to do it
Country soul--real soul.
love wasn't a question for me
Not Conway. But George does the song justice. RIP both of you. We miss you and love you. The Heavens must sound beautiful.
George nailed this.
We have lost some greats in County Music .
HELLO GEORGE
Good ole George Jones... best song ever!!!
love.it.all
love.it.all
love.it.all
Good oh drinking music
"JONESIN"
R I P those good country singer One of the best
One legend paying tribute to another, with two others looking on in amazement. Rest in peace, in order of oldest to youngest, June (1929-2003), George (1931-2012), Johnny (1932-2003), and Conway (1933-1993). You are all missed greatly.
Waylon Jennings
Joshua Brooks what about Waylon?
Jason Nathan
@Lisa Zeszut Merle died three years ago
Actually George Jones died 2013 not 2012
Only George Jones could have done justice to Conway's song! This is fantastic, I can't imagine how difficult it must have been for him to sing his friends song!
Rips your heart right out.
"You know this ol' world is full of singers, but just a few are chosen...to tear your heart out when they sing."
No doubt Mr. Jones was one of those few. Pure Country!
God bless you Mr. Jones!
John Rainey truth
BEAUTIFULLY SAID!
John Rainey he was too humble to include himself in that song.. he was a legend as much as anyone in that song though
John Rainey He sure is missed, sing up in heaven George
@pat sloan I live in Florence. My Aunt Barbara, whom I lost Nov. 21, 2017, loved him & this song. God bless.
hope you're doing fine. Just to know this means so much to me.
The voice of country music.
Ben Shavers he is the king of country
Twitty sang it and George owned it.........................................
I agree. Conway's is always gonna be great, but George just KILLS with that voice and delivery.
