I sang this at my grandmas funeral and I held it in till the end is when I lost it

Love this song. It was my husbands favorite. It took me 5 years to listen to it after my husband was killed in an accidental fall in 2008; So devastated.  He was fixing to retired . I have a disability and need help traveling. Haven't got to travel in 10 yrs. I saw GJ in concert many times here in Gatlinburg. He was here a few months before his passing.

I saw George Jones at the Clay County Fair years ago. He was late and did not sing long. I was so disapointed in the show. So it is extra special seeing and hearing him singing with the Gaithers.

Good ol' George Jones. I remember my first radio job in Carlsbad, NM 1983 at KATK Kat Country. I remember playing his 45s. What a legend. Happy he was a part of my life growing up. The angels are going to love your heavenly voice.

He was handsome and an awesome singer to the end. I know he is with our Lord.

I think good ol' George got his life right with God there towards the end. he could always take a gospel song and just let'er go. God took home a real legend home this past week. he will surely be missed. "who's gonna fill their shoes"?
