Such a beautiful song. I believe Steve Hackett kept the old style Genesis alive. Then there were three was the beginning of the end for me.

And me. I could deal with Peter leaving but when Steve left, Genesis became something else.

What a great song off an even better album. Not a weak song on this great LP. No Peter Gabriel. No problem.

It would have been cool to hear Peter Gabriel sing this But Phil Collins executed it masterfully.

Gab Pinto - Absolutely. I always thought how great it would’ve been to hear Gabriel’s voice in this, Mad Man Moon, and possibly Robbery, Assault & Battery...though I certainly have no complaints. Phil knocked it out of the park.

@Ryan Freer Peter Gabriel era was more about the storytelling. I missed the story telling fairy tail shit. That's the cream of Genesis I believe. But this and wind of the wuthering we're amazing musically.

It has always amazed me that music like this could be created by young men in their mid 20's.

It still blows me away how this band loses its lead singer and front man in Peter Gabriel and then comes out with one its best albums ever with the same Genesis feel but a with fresh sound.. Credit Collins. This song is beautiful and mesmerizing!!!!!

This is Genesis full stop!

When you look at the old english bands from that time, many still going on today, you find out they all had education in classic music. The most important from that is they learned how all things are put together - note by note instead of a whole chord with full fuzz. But there are exeptions, like Rolling Stones who still try to figure out what Hi-Fi is short for....

The sweet sound of the 12 string. Not to mention one of the best album covers ever.
