Hello Glen! I been listening to country music since my childhood as dad used to play it all the time as soon as he'd get back home from work.
I like all the great good old country singers and I can't say that one in particular is my favourite because I love so many of them. I will name some that I like and listen to their songs regularly, Bobby Bare, Jim Reeves, Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Don Williams, Boxcar Willie, Willie Nelson, Dolly Parton, Loretta Lynn, Lynn Anderson, Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Gene Watson, Frank Ifield, Kenny Rogers, Marty Robins, Alan Jackson, Narvel Felts, Claude King, Eddie Arnold, Burl Ives, Faron Young, Charley Pride, Charlie Rich, Van Doonican, Tom T. Hall, Vern Gosdin, Isla Grant, Charlie Landsborough, Conway Twitty, Janie Frickie, Ricky Skaggs, Ricky Van Shelton, Jean Shepard, Billy 'Crash' Craddock, Hank Locklin, Freddie Hart, Freddie Fender, Ned Miller, Leroy Van Dyke, Jimmy Dean and lots more.

I am Maltese and on local radio stations country music programmes mostly play the popular old golden country songs and few add new country singers songs but I don't feel that they don't sing pure real country as I like. I search on YouTube and get acquainted by country singers that I never heard off thanks to others who share music here like Brent does, and I can never thank them enough. In Malta we have singers who sing country and I feel that they are good too but Malta is a very small country and only the ones who dare to go abroad will make a name. Our considered local country queen singer is Marisa D'Amato and she's getting popular because she takes part on tv programmes locally and abroad too. Two other of our local country singers that I like are Marlene Chetcuti and Marty Rivers.
As a Maltese I listen to lots of songs and in different languages too. I like also songs in Maltese language, English and Italian as they are languages that I know and speak fluently. I also like French, Spanish and Greek songs too.
