Great suite. If that's a remaster it's the worst remaster I've ever heard though..

This remaster definitely brings out his voice better than the original. Got the Quad LP version this week and can’t wait to get home to hear it as the Quad mixes always sound somewhat different.

As a teenager I used to lie in bed and fall asleep to this album, only waking when the record hit the end and scrapped, scratched as if to say do it again so I did. Thanks David and Bread for their wonderfull music over the years. This is real stuff......GOD Bless, Already have the next song High Rider playing in my head. Please post the whole album for all of us likeminded people to enjoy....

I picked up a copy of the single from the record stall at Chelmsford market, Essex when I passed through around September 1973 (I think). It’s here somewhere, gathering dust no doubt as I haven’t seen it for many years.

My sister left this album when she left our house. I was the youngest. She is 68 now

"Clouds / Rain" is one of the few songs that featured the Moog Synth when it was still fairly new and incorporated its unique features "naturally" into the song. The Moog solo has Larry Knechtel "written" all over it though. I wish David would credit Larry for this while one of them is still alive to set the "record" straight. (Larry K. received a Grammy for writing the piano solos in "Bridge Over Troubled Water" (the first "studio" musician so honored), cut the piano track for "Rockin' Pnmonia" (sp?) for Johnny Rivers in one take, played on many LA "wrecking crew hits of the 60's (organ on "Good Vibrations") and even uncredited bass player on The Doors first L.P.) For other songs featuring the Moog during this period, check out "July Morning" by Uriah Heep (where the Ken Hensley's friend Manfred Mann, brought his new "toy" to the studio and played the Moog track); "Funeral For A Friend" by Elton John; and "Lucky Man" by Keith Emerson and ELP.

There is no “their”, this is not a Bread song, but from David Gates’ first LP named “First”.

This is a unique , marvelous masterpiece of pop electronic music of the 70´s . I think during those years were set the basis for the good pop music of the following two or three decades.
