Oh man, this brings back memories. Jagged was the first Gary Numan album I ever bought and Fold was my favorite track. I may have been a bit dramatic as a teenager, but I definitely had great taste in music.

Fellow music nerds! Can anyone tell me where the metallic sound at 1:09 comes from? You can hear the same sound in Don't Mess With The Original from Scream 4 and the theme from Idle Hands.

Absolutely one of the most underrated and underseen album. EVER. Still unfortunately, Gary is still pretty underground here in the states.  We need to have him tour the states in my opinion

totally agree. The US is missing out on one of the most talented artists coming out of the UK.

if you like this newer style of his, you might like Distance
I recently found him (thru my love of Burial)
there are no lyrics, but that same sort of sound
try Koncrete or V by Distance
(and no, I am not Distance nor do I know him)

All my life, I never found NOT ONE singer or group or even musical style that I was singularly enthusiastic about like some people. Plenty of performers with the right attitude, but not the skill. Now, at 50 years of age, I recently had to track down out-of-production Numan Albums like some smitten, 14-yr old fan-bitch, as well as order what was available (thank you amazon). Why does absolutely nobody else have the capability of consistently coming out with mega-cool songs like this guy?

The Jagged CD is the last one I dwnloaded from a firend b4 he died at the age of 39 . So Jagged is a pers favorite for me.

absolutely not!It's the old stuff (early 80ies)that's his best.
Newer stuff is cool but not that good

Damn cool song can't understand all the hohah over this album by the older fans and I have been into Gary Numan since I was 12 in 1979. Idon'tcare its one of his best so far, bit slow but well cool
