Gary Moore - The Sky Is Crying Lyrics
The sky is cryin'.
Look at the tears rollin' down the street.
The sky is cryin'.
Look at the tears rollin' down the street.
I been lookin' for my baby,
That's right.
I saw my baby one mornin'
And she was walkin' on down the street.
I saw my baby one mornin'
And she was walkin' on down the street.
Yes, she was.
You know it hurt me so bad,
It made my poor heart skip a beat.
Here we go, play it for me.
I've got a bad, bad feelin',
My baby don't love me no more.
I've got a bad, bad feelin',
My baby don't love me no more, no.
The sky is cryin'.
Woh, look at the tears rolling down my nose.
The sky is cryin'.
Look at the tears rollin' down the street, yeah.
The sky is cryin'.
Look at the tears rollin' down the street.
I been lookin' for my baby,
I wonder where my baby can be.

My addiction..Gary Moore..never get enough..love his music more than my GF!!!🎸🎸🤘🇬🇧
He wrung out everything that Fender had to give.
WOW! Respect
Mr. Moore is definitely the bomb !!! NO ONE comes close to JIMI HENDRIX !!!!
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
SRV high five-ing Gary, and giving him a bow. 🚀
There's something about oppression and its many forms of expression that makes for wonderful music...….The Blackman's slavery and the English oppression of the Irish...….seems to lead to wonderful unique music.....
Love that rhythm section, that piano player is a monster and makes the song sound like some black guys somewhere down south are playing behind him! Fkn excellent! Gary Moore was a baaaaaad, bad ass motherfucker! RIP my friend.
Damn, an orgy of raw aggresiveness and emotions! He blows everyone away including, Clapton, Page and Blackmore
This is what a call....
EXTRAORDINARY GUITAR PLAYER..GARY MOORE.
!!!jo su puta mare, un pinche genio!!!! Descanse en paz el gran Gary Moore El cielo te llora, Caminando ahora por los "Corridors of Power"
Sky is Crying....
Да, небо плачет по тебе......
I wouldn't care kicking the bucket with the culminating vibrato at 3:37 in my ears.
Me the last 3 weeks
This music of Gary Moore makes the hair on your arms stand in salute..What an explosive guy and band to give out so much fantastic music and song to the world..
Gary Moore just straight sending it for 11 minutes and 38 seconds. Freaking gorgeous
And the best thing is that after the gig the guitar survived after a stay at the IC at the local hospital. Shredding that Fender.
NJEGOVO STCE JE U GITARI !
The one and only geniune guitar genius sad loss for us all
A professional at his BEST..Full control of words ..song..and music..He has the GIFT and he is sharing with us this amasing gift ..Touches the Heart.

The sky is crying....for losing you, Gary Moore! An inspiration to all, a magnificent, overwhelming musician! Thank you for your music and your talent!
Oh! I know that Strat needs a cigarette after this rogering.

211 lost souls
When people stop comparing X to Y to Z we 'll make a big step forward...it's music not the Olympic games
I don't know who plays the bass guitar. He's a grandmaster too. I saw and listened to Mr. Moore in Montreux 25 years ago. I was too young to fully appreciate then. I do now.
Gary Moore was a great guitarist and I dedicate the Blues more, Iam fan Hendrix, Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Page, Winter, Buchanan and Gary Moore is among them 🎸
Gary hit you right in the heart.
His body language, let alone his raw talent, has always made him a stellar musician! Amazing.
What a powerful, scintillating guitar player. Wow.
My favourite guitarist. Glad to have seen him live in the 80's many times. Gary is NOT dead. How can he be with such music? The man lives through his misic. There is no one to compare to him. He was and stil IS the best. Fight me if you disagree. I will take you on bare knuckle and Gary's hands will smack your face to hell and back.
Gary Is A Legend But There Are Some Others Just As Good, I Play, And Could NEVER Duplicate The Sound Here Or With Some Other Newer Greats...listen To Philip Sayce And 28 Year Old Eric Steckle Who Had 3 Albums Out Before He Was 15 Unreal Feeling And Speed They Ooze Like Gary Did, Plus Steckle Play The Guitar Leads, Rhythim, Bass Organ And Piano When He Records, Only A Drummer Needed In The Studio
@Jay Falco Many thanks, Jay. I will check them out. Have a good day.

It’s jyst buisness to make money 💰... I get it
The sky shits it’s pants as well ..!!! Lol
He's a doing SRV better than SRV
In my humble opinion, at age 70, with guitar based ties since the early 1960s, all genres of music, Gary Moore was as great as any player that ever lived. Metal players may shred faster, but few if any guitarists can match Gary Moore's blend of soul and pure virtuosity. To me, he was the GOAT of blues rock guitarists. I still mourn his premature passing...........Selah.
I'm SICK of the blues.
even in loud sound
the sound are so clear and good.
tsktsktsk
what a player.
Such a monster.
Gary & Vinnie Vincent awesome shredders
Maybe, However I did see SRV in 83."
All I can do is stand in awe, once I get off the floor :-)
ураган
Just brilliant...the intensity of his playing beggars belief, every single note!! And that vibrato!!!
Love this
I love Gary's playing and I miss him so much. :( RIP buddy.
El virtuoso mas grande , sin mas
Jazz fusion with Colosseum ll, Rock with Thin Lizzy, Rock on his solo albums. GM was not just a blues guitarist, he was a virtuoso.Take the time to check out his complete body of work and you will be further amazed.
guitar hero!!
I lake your perpormans and your music Blues the song from heart. Thanks you Gary moore .God Blas you.
no disrespect to Gary Moore the man was a guitar monster but in my opinion there is only one man who can ever do the sky. s crying with the passion the feeling and the power and that man was Stevie Ray Vaughn
Killer awesomeness ⚡️
Eric Clapton AND Gary More kn ow more about the blues guitar on earth. Soooo beautiful.GM was so great a real talent.dudes.
one crazy dude. The best blues player on the planet.
Les Paul or Strato? No matters, he was on the best to show us talent is the best sound ever
I live 30mins away from bellinzona. At the time i was 17. I was already a fan. And i discover only now that he played there? WHAT?!? WHY? PORCO DIO
It doesn't get any better than this. Drums, Bass, Hammond Organ and a man whose soul poured out of his guitar and who had the talent and ability to invent new licks as he's playing the song.
Seriously plays like it's life or death. No matter what show you see you feel like he has given everything he physically had to the song. His Red House is just as intense.
I know of no one, past present, that played(s) with such intensity, emotion, and passion...too bad he's gone....oh and the facial expressions are amazing!
To those saying hes the best and second to none. Well.... While he is very dear to me and many others. There have been better...
Playing guitar like no ones watching... Feeling that music... Love this guy.
One of the most vicious attacks ever. Screeching brilliance.
greatest with Duane Allman.
I have been so fortunate to work with players a lot like that man.
Mr. David Thayer
Tulsa Oklahoma!!!
I love this version and the SRV version and am not willing to compare them because both are valid. Gary speaks for himself and Stevie speaks for himself also.
The original version is the truth and it isn't for me to know because I did not perform it.
I respect and love history and I wish I knew the original but I am cursed to live all these years later.
It is what it is and we have to pretend we know we know everything
or maybe just enjoy this :)
Gary was & always will be THE BEST!
DUDE>>!!
Imagine that you have gone to a auditorium your friends and you self have got good seats and this is the opening tune for an hour with Gary Moore the other half with BB king. I think that was money well spent. We all had a good time.
Da weiß einer genau was er tut
For you fans, check out Roy Buchanan. I'm thinking you might like him. RIP GM.
Rory Gallagher was no slouch either
wow he's playing a strat, this should be edgy, I thought he always played a les paul
nobody cannily a guitar like this, absolutely none..
Never before....never again
Yes. This sky is definitely crying with Gary gone.
Change all the dictionaries. Under 'Blues' just put a link to this genius video and those remarkable solos....
ijust hope some of u got to thin lizzy with gary moore out standing
No one makes better guitar faces than Gary Moore. When he gets that look on his face like he just walked into the bathroom after someone took a shit, you know he's jammin!
God guitars!!!
what a pity I never go to his concert ... oh my ... thank you and rip, justice fighter!
I did, in 1993 at tge Albert Hall in London, there are no words to describe his talent. RIP
This guitar was taken to emergency unit after the show !
He is on fire simply the best
Love Gary Moore
I always think how that guitar survives this. Is he going to IC to rest or what. :-)
Loved him in ThinLizzy. The bues was his heart & soul
Nasty fn blues. Mg
Nothing you could teach this master blues man. RIP.
Gary and SRV were the epitome of " ferocious blues". There may be imitators and replicators but this is the real deal.
I hope that guitar was over 18.
IRREPLACEABLE!!! Enough said. R.I.P.
