I find a lot of comments saying that will is gay or westlife version is best.But taste is subjective and determined by preference not facts.

All versions are great although we find these covers inferior (supposedly) ha ha
This song has Gareth's own personal tweaks,his voice,his charm,his falsetto,his additions.

It would be more consoling and lovable to say "I find it better sounding" , or it feels more smooth and soulful.

Ugh fuck my life Will and Gareth were handled SO poorly after Pop Idol. I swear the show didn't expect to find actual talented singers the way they found Will and Gareth. Thankfully Will fell on his feet and gave us great albums - I just wonder what would have happened if he'd been given free reign and him and gareth could have soared individually... But I'm just a pop idol fangirl who's seen some complete idiots on x-factor sell albums so what do I know...

They were both good but Will's version gave me goosebumps...and far more distinctive ...

To all those saying westlife is a cover band and they cover other artists songs, get your facts right. There are more original hits than the cover esp those that went straight to no 1, my love, love swear it again, flying without wings other songs like fool again, bop bop baby, world of our own, unbreakable etc they have even written their own material. so stop generalizing and talking without knowing the facts !

Not as good as Will Young's version, Will has a much better and more distinctive voice...if it didn't say Gareth Gates on the video I would never be able to guess who it was, whereas Will Young, you'd be able to hear it and say "Yeah that's Will".
