First time I heard her voice and this song, I was swept away and stuck to her like a powerful magnet. I am just so happy she's alive today. "If All The Stars Were Mine' is a great song as well, because she sings it so convincingly and loving.

I found her when listening to a burnt CD from a friend of my fathers. I have memories of hearing her voice the first time sitting cross cross on the floor next to the bass.. god knows how much her voice touched me. That dark room with the amazing speaker system from the 80's . Girl you are amazing.

Melody Gardot is a talented and interesting singer -- for the life of me, I have not the SLIGHTEST idea why some folks, instead of just listening to really nice music, feel compelled to be annoying and abrasive -- I will NEVER understand, not in a million years.  :(

Well, that escalated quickly. The one thing I find funny is that so many speak of things they have done in their life, like serving in the military, but no one took the time to think of what those things mean to the internet. The internet is global, and I doubt that anyone has served on all sides. The internet was formed by many people, all from different backgrounds and cultures, and frankly, the internet does not care whether you serve in the military or at a McDonalds. It is the ultimate truth, the fact that no matter what someone does, they do not mean anything in the grand scheme of things. I personally don't care for religion, but I would think that the internet is the ultimate middle finger at the concept of God.

Poor Mike M, obviously a miserable person who's glee comes from attempting to make others miserable.

Awaken Mike! You could be so much more than your venom and hatred.

I completely agree, MrBobaloo. Melody is unique and talented. Mike M, not so much.

As I'm sure you already know, people like Mike M are angry, sad, unhappy, and aggressively trying to enrage in order to bring others down to their dissatisfied, horribly pathetic level of hate-drenched existence.

Ignore if possible Mike's intentional and loathe-worthy provocations.

It's not easy because people like Mike M (and there are thousands of them) take fiendish delight in playing the jerk.
