Let's just say, every single beautiful word there is in the world.

God I just adore this woman's music. She's just incredible. In this version of this song I think her raspy sick voice reflects the rawness of the emotion in the song perfectly, it just underscores how vulnerable the mood of the haunting lyrics are I love it. LOVE! ❤

Não sei porque as pessoas ficam comparando tannnto esse álbum com o outro,dizendo que o estilo dela mudou, o cd tem músicas calminhas tipo heavy heart, hurt, a while, don't break your heart on me , coming home , the house we never built, e ainda segue a sequência de músicas românticas que ela compôs no english rain, algumas sim estão mais dançantes,mas não perde a alma das músicas dela pra ficar um pop comum,estou particularmente adorando esse novo cd,e a voz de Gabrielle parece cada vez melhorar,espero um dia ver uma apresentação dela,porque se eu já choro escutando sozinha, imagina num show maravilhoso desse!!

I can hear the roughness in her voice caused by the cold she had when she performed this, but it's still so beautiful, it makes me emotional :') angel voice no matter what.

Why does she have to be so annoyingly good? Is she a magic fairy? This is so heart-breaking and all the emotion is present in the song. Love the whole album. You are seriously talented +gabrielleaplin

I remember seeing Gabrielle at Koko a few years back and there was some discussion about whether the show would still play as she was really ill - she had to cancel the night before if I recall - but she still persevered on like a true performer. If anything, these 'vocal imperfections' just make her performances more raw, and shows that she's only human. She's not superhuman - although sometimes I think otherwise! - and despite her illness here, she still sounds absolutely grand!

All i'll say is if this is when she was sick, I want to be there when she is well.

This is one of my favourites from the album. (Anybody out there and Letting you go are also amazing).

After hearing the entire album,I've got to say that Gabby's voice has changed ,it is a little bit rough now and she couldn't even reach the pitch in singing "home" live.Does anyone knows why her voice turned rough and low?It's a pity of losing her flawless voice.

I don't have an official answer but I think female voices also deepen slightly from teen to young adult. Obviously not as deep as men but I've noticed the same thing with other female artists too. That's my guess anyway. :)

I really love Gabrielle's new songs, but her bridges seem to have gone downhill; so far they all seem to consist of peculiar 'ooh' noises... I thoroughly enjoy the songs, don't get me wrong, but I feel a powerful bridge always gives a song a stand-out 'wow' factor. Nevertheless I am still excited for her new album, and I am especially looking forward to seeing her live! :D
