Holy cow, I actually HAD this CD. I'm a little sorry I got rid of it now... because this song is also in my favorite movie, School of Life. I didn't like the scenes this song was in that much, though. Still, great song, can't believe I didn't recognize it until just now.

@Varaidzo1 Yeah I miss her Bohemian poetry...she just really became so commercial but I suppose that happens when you hit the big time:) I DO like some of her newer stuff don't get me wrong but I loved 'Whoa Nelly'...hasn't been anything like it lyrically since...Boo:(

@jlalewicz I would have to completely agree with that! There was something so incredibly zany about the lyrics of her older music...like woah, nobody would ever come up with that. It was so amazingly original.

@Varaidzo1 as to sick spoken word poetry....yep, thats what I like about 'old nelly'. What happened to that? None of her more recent music has the lyrical content of her old AT ALL...so disappointed in that.

i agree, since her loose album came out, i've thought her earlier stuff was a lot more POETIC, playful, creative, funky, lots of cool rhythms and sounds.
it'd be nice if she did more of that, she's great at it!!!

My favorite♥

This is like my favorite Nelly Furtado song. It gives me a really... strange feeling. But I love the, yeah, maybe the surrealism in it. It's brilliant.

I don't know why, but this song reminds me of Prince. I have absolutely no idea why that is.
