Furman, Ezra - Driving Down To L.A. Lyrics

Don't tell my mom, don't tell my dad
I've been driving down to L.A. with my baby
On the cliffs, he drives real fast
He may drive his car into the ocean, maybe

I don't mind
I've got big dreams in my mind
I would give up my whole life for that feelin'
No, I don't mind
If I lose my legs or die
I've built a home inside his eyes and I ain't leavin'

Don't tell my mom, don't tell my brother
I've been driving down the freeway with my master
There's one law and I've known no other
It's the law of love I'm bound to, drive me faster

I don't mind
I'll gladly pay that highway fine
This little heart is open wide and it's getting wider
No, I don't mind
If we cross the thin white lines
Over a cliff down to the ground, I am your rider

    Crazy, beautiful, talented and amazing

  5. l.... b....

Okay so everyone knows he is releasing a new album on Feb 18 2018
The name is pretty pretentious though I gotta admit

    l.... b....

I like the name. It sounds nice and feels rife with personal meaning for Ezra.

    l.... b....

    yeh kinda

    l.... b....

Ezra seems to take the transforming into angels thing a bit too literally. He's sincere, emotional, thoughtful, well intentioned, kind of weird, but boy can he belt out a tune!

Awesome. Unexpected new type of sound (not great with technical music ~lingo~, sorry)

And Ezra is looking cute as heck, I couldn't not express my noticing of this. Haven't seen them in ages.

I hope you will grace Dublin with your presence again, your show at The Academy in 2015 was mesmerising.
Oh, and you can actually get a photo with the Phillo statue this time 😋

    What happened Ezra?!

    s.... ....

I don't know what happened. He manage to make even better music when everybody thought it was impossible. Way to go Ezra. That's totally amazing. But, hey, spg2a4, if that's your real name, if you want to listen to "perpetual motion people" again and again, just press "repeat" and listen to it perpetually. But don't ask an artist to put a "repeat" on it's creativity.

ArlequinPolichinelle nah this new material is just not as good. Different does not mean good.

    s.... ....

It sounds like a poor imitation of Perfume Genius quite frankly...
