Funeral For A Friend - Kiss And Makeup Lyrics

No matter where you go
They'll fucking tie you down
And bleed you from your wrists (bleed you from your wrists)
Well, it's better that we leave
Leave it this way (leave it this way)

And just to soften the blow
I'll steal all of your kisses (your kisses)
And sew them up
In the creases of our hearts.

No matter where you go
They'll fucking tie you down
And bleed you from your wrists (bleed you from your wrists)
Well, it's better that we leave
Leave it this way (leave it this way)

And just to soften the blow
I'll steal all of your kisses (your kisses)
And sew them up
In the creases of our hearts.
And just to soften the blow
I'll steal all of your kisses (your kisses)
And sew them up
In the creases of our

HEARTS [x2]
I never really loved you anyway.
HEARTS [x2]
I never really loved you anyway.
HEARTS [x2]
I never really loved you anyway.
HEARTS [x2]
I never really loved you anyway.

Oh, on the one thing you betted on
Don't ever let them take you down.
Oh, on the one thing you betted on
Don't ever let them take you down.

    my high school memories :'(

I've been relistening to all the mid-2000s emo bands, and I honestly think that FFAF is the only one that aged well. In fact I've been playing Casually Dressed and Hours in a loop for the past 2 weeks. These guys have all the good riffs and none of the obnoxiousness of the genre.

I first heard this song when I was 17, senior in high school. Since then I have stopped listening to most of the music i listened to when I was that young, except funeral for a friend, and especially this song. I am now 23 years old and a senior in college. Thier music, even in its earliest stages still has me by the balls.

  10. Ariel and Sebring

Thumbs up if Jeydon Wale brought you here.

If you liked this stuff then do what you can to get hold of Countless Hours Making Waves by Days In December if you haven't heard of it :-)

  13. Brayden Fath

@stidge20 The Reason their EP was so good, was because it had Serpents in Solitude, My favourite song by them! =)

  14. stidge20

@braydenfath agreed defo not their best... I don't know why everyone likes the EP so much. It's OK. guess I just really liked the sound on their first album and they never really returned to that.

  15. stidge20

@Sophiawhite3 yeah i liked it.... a couple of songs were good. all of them were decent. i still prefer their first album massively and their second one to a lesser degree.

  16. Brayden Fath

@Sophiawhite3 Actually, in my opinion it isn't their best, Unless you count the EP then definitely!
