such a strange but amazing song

This is one of the highlights of an incredible album. And yes, they are CLEARLY influenced by Queen. Not sure why that's an argument. This song, Be Calm, Barlights, even Some Nights, all sound like they were composed by people who listened to a lot of Queen, and yay for them! Queen's a great band and so is fun.

Now my favorite part happens to be the bridge at 2:20, when the texture changes and it's like clouds opened up or something. Definitely some great musical choices. That little piano riff in the background sounds like something Randy Newman would have written but not as campy. 😝

also, for everyone freaking that people discovered them after We Are Young, unless you listened to Nate's first band, The Format (a local Arizona band) and heard that he was forming fun. after the Format broke up in 2008, you can't bash others for liking them after here a good song.

Listening to Nate just takes me back to the days of the Format, now that was an amazing group to hear live.
