edwin silk John and Josh both played bass and guitar on this album. But in this song, all you have to do is listen, you can tell its John on bass and you can tell its his strumming on guitar. And Chad played drums on this album, Josh played drums on most of Johns other stuff after this though. *flea* plays double bass on one track of this album (the slaughter)

Probably comparing human psycho-sexual behaviors and how they carry over into adulthood but in other ways.

Like for example, you call the girl sucking you off your baby, but really it almost imitates the act of nursing.

i think it is a simple reference to the fact that when he was a baby he was on nothing but milk, the white stuff. And when he was in his early twenties he was on nothing but cocaine & other similar white stuff.

Might be wrong but that's something i've always picked up from this line in the song.

I'm not ashamed to admit it....I CRIED TO THIS SONG! This song is so beautiful. His music just has so much more soul in it than any of this shit they play on the radio. I can't wait for him to finish this new album. I know it will be great

so deep and cold. it took me a while to realise that i hadn't relaxed enough when listening to this song, now that i have its taken me to whole new level! it IS the inside of emptiness! its hard to embrace what is communicated here fully. man we are so lucky to have John's awesome music!!
