it's been 5 years since the girl i dedicated this to broke my heart. what's crazy is that i've moved on, had other relationships, and plenty of different experiences. but coming back to this makes me feel 14 again. reliving the pain in my chest and swelling in my throat like it happened yesterday. while i don't listen to tfb's newer music as much as i do their older stuff, i still tell everyone that they're my all time favorite band simply because of how much of an impact they've had on my life. 💞

A friend told me about this band, I decided to check it out, but to be completely honest, it sounds rather dreadful. I like the music, just not his voice, and the lyrics are pretty dull too... I guess it's just not my taste, although I do like indie pop but not this band.

Romeo Abregana I don't actually know who it is, but I think it's the girl from The Rentals. That would be my guess, if not, they sound exactly alike. It makes sense for it to be her too. TFB recorded this right by where The Rentals are from.

I agree it makes it feel like a real early preview to maybe a future album! It picks up in the end to sort of a foreshadow of what i see their sound will become .

Do we know who the girl is, yet? It took me a bit to get used to her voice... but now I really enjoy it! I love this recording. It's so fresh! I love how they switched up some lyrics and the sequence of things. I LOVE the original, it's so sloppy, it's amazing. But I just love this cleaned up, older, more mature version, also. I love that they are even re-recording ANYTHING... they get to do things that maybe they weren't able to do before. Venture further with older songs... I cannot wait for the re-recording of 12 Feet Deep.. AHHHH. <3 <3 <3 <3 Love love love, so much love for them. Okay, end. :)
