Hmm.. This just doesn't move me the way their other songs do like "Late in the night".

David Braden It is still pretty energetic, the grove and beats are there, but I feel like it's more about music and voice creating an atmosphere, instead of focusing on words bringing the message and emotions. Plus I feel like as you get older, you get less emotional and want to tone it down a little. That's how I see it.

I agree. I've been excited for it since he teased the guitar riff on social media last year. It's still my favorite track. @***** Yeah I realized that from the get go. The lyrics are also very heavy. I'm still getting over my last relationship so you can imagine how hard this record's been hitting me. It's almost a whole 'nother side of Joey

I can't say that I don't see the transition to this. If he was going for the feeling of being 'distant' then he certainly nailed it. Maybe I'm just not appreciating this for what it is.

it's such a deep swell. I do realize and appreciate not everything moves people in the same wave. however, this song moves me and the video adds to that energy

@Kyle Gilbert Seems that way mate. Band are almost certainly going to evolve as the band members mature, you surely can't expect them to should the same album after album
