I lokie my Metal in a lot of ways: sometimes Epic and Symphonic, other times a bit more abrasive and hard-pounding, with the occasional Doomy and cerebral stuff here and there. but this is SO happy and full of energy that I can´t bring myself to say no to this. Even more: I embrace it and enjoy it. Good stuff.

Woah, so much butthurt here! That's why I don't call myself "a person interested in rock/metal" - don't feel like being one of these complainers. Expecting, classifying, trying to predict what you'll hear now... and what do you get from that? Endless disappointment because someone is "not metal enough", or sounds different from what he used to, or you found out he used to play soft rock? How about no? Not trying to force an opinion on anyone... but I simply don't get it.  My playlist has stuff from E-Type to Iron Maiden. The only criteria is if I like the song. Metal? Alright. Pop? So be it. Perhaps that's wrong, but I'm happy with it. Sorry if this was too long.

I think you have just made the wrong experiences. I myself tolerate every Music genre but only listen to almost all Metal subgenres. In my opinion this is as much metal as Amon Amarth, Metallica, Slayer etc. But i get your Point. I really dont know why there are so many People who have to ruin the fun.

Metallica have done nu metal and hard rock so you can't say that they are more metal than Freedom Call.

I saw these guys at Bloodstock in the UK this summer. Awesome show. Yeah, some of their tracks are a bit cheesy but they play well. 'Happy metal' - a good description for these guys and not one to be ashamed of.
