Free - Worry Lyrics
If its the cold black night
That's eating up your heart
The cold damp sweat
Keep you and sleep apart
The ticking clock
The wind that howls
As much as it is able
Then worry baby worry
There's a reason for you to
There's a silent, deadly message
In the wind that's meant for you
And the sleeping streets
Have closed their tired eyes
Will move & slowly rise
Your beating heart
Will hammer at your breast
Your aching brain
Will cry aloud for rest
Worry baby worry
There's a reason for you to
There's a silent, deadly message
In the wind that's meant for you
Worry baby worry
There's a reason for you to
There's a silent, deadly message
In the wind that's meant for you

Long live Paul Rodgers!!!!!!!
If its the cold black night
That's eating up your heart
The cold damp sweat
Keep you and sleep apart
The ticking clock
Just watching on the table
The wind that howls
As much as it is able
Then worry baby worry
There's a reason for you to
There's a silent, deadly message
In the wind that's meant for you
And the sleeping streets
Have closed their tired eyes
The fear that creeps
Will move & slowly rise
Your beating heart
Will hammer at your breast
Your aching brain
Will cry aloud for rest
Worry baby worry
There's a reason for you to
There's a silent, deadly message
In the wind that's meant for you
Worry baby worry
There's a reason for you to
There's a silent, deadly message

ESSE PRIMEIRO ÁLBUM DO FREE É SENSACIONAL, UM GRANDE CLÁSSICO !
I love Free, and for some silly reason I had never really given their debut a listen. This song is like a fiery furnace. I may have third degree burns from listening to this. Absolutely killer track!

Oooo, I'm digging this-- what a groove.
Have you heard this one?
https://youtu.be/C2SvmTM-zps
Listening with headphones and now I'm realizing how much this song must've influenced Sabbath on all levels! Especially that different riff change up,.
somehow I heard it then on the BBC
'forget the beatles, forget the rolling stones, FREE were the best band ever...' - AL COOPER.
OMG, this song is it
Heavy shit
The holy grail of paul Rodgers songs
this is true heavy metal
this is pure darkness, you can feel the energy
when music was made by musicians not computers
I hate modern music but people probably hated the electric guitar as much as we hate computer generated sounds. It still takes undeniable talent to create music using computers.
@Bernie Basset my thoughts precisely
Beautiful xx
Gives me shivers. Just an incredible band. Andy grooved like no one else.
I have this album can sell Island Records – ILPS 9089 UK
Free played like four sobs on this their debut album, this album kicks so much ass it has power, attitude, swag. This is Blues Rock on steroids all original tunes except two tracks. Zeppelin's debut had only two originals and six rip offs not to mention every song on their album was about the same thing pretty much. Would i take Free over Bad Company?? absolutely. I remember buying this cd in the summer of 2007 without hearing a single song from it and i was not disapointed.Tons Of Sobs is one of the best heavy blues rock albums ever released. File it next to Robin Trower-Bridge Of Sighs, Keef Hartley Band-Halfbreed, Allman Brothers-ST 1969,
And to add to it they were all under 20 years old at the time of recording, and the bass player a mere 16. I also think every Free album trumps anything Bad Company ever did. Paul Kossoff's death was a tragedy for music.
@Bucketheadhead You are correct Bad Company was good and i liked them i own the first two Bad Company Cd's. However it was a little polished and lacked the fire Free had. I own four Free Cd's and i have 2 burnt cd's with random songs have you heard their live version of Crossroads?? its from 70 or 71
agree totally amigo!!!
@Rocky B Nail on the head re Bad Company. Great band but yeah, too polished and not enough of the passion that really made Free stand out.
GREAT !!!!
solid blues rock track, darkness can eat up my heart sometimes. but i do the best i can with my life.
These guy were teenagers. Listen to this and contrast that with other teenage bands like Hanson or Silverchair just for comparisons sake. It really highlights how these guys were the greatest teenage band ever, don't it? It's like a hurricane vs a whirlwind.
I wouldn't disagree a lot of the songs on Tons of Sobs are brilliant, but some of their later stuff is equally incredible, although it is a lot more mature sounding. Mr.Big remains my favourite.
They where all still teenagers when they recorded this album, and Andy Frazier (bass) was just 16 ! I find that remarkable given the quality and maturity of performance.
FREE FOREVER
This is rock n roll at it's absolute coolest.
how the fuck are they not in the rock and roll hall of fame fuckin insult to their memory and bad company should be in there too great song even their first album is the dogs bollocks
Find when feeling down or depressed ,Free can shake out that mood, thou obviously you don't need to be down to listen.Just some music has the ability to ease a troubled mind.
love it... reading comments from people just discovering Free... I know this is amazing .. enjoy...
I agree, they really deserve the Hall of Fame,
I was around in those years and I remember when All right now came out it was amazing...such a new and exciting sound....they had many great songs.
I think they inspired many bands...Free was a top band and like many greats (Jimi,Janis;Brian;Duane,Doors) didn't last very long (as a band..and Paul died in '77)
but surely he was an underrated guitarist..the rest of the band became Bad Co. but never got close to Free's level...
Free-like an everflowin' stream.
aww the sun is shining when i hear this ;)
Great Post.... I'm sorry but I always liked Free's first two albums more then Fire & Water.... not that Fire & Water sucks just didn't think it was better then the previous first two albums...
cała pierwsza płyta rządzi !
AMAZING TRUE ROCK N ROLL.
@ChildrenOfDoom662 Please go buy every Free album...you have just stumbled on to the greatest band to ever play music.
Thriller is rooted in this song
The song "Thriller," is rooted in this song. No doubt.
Please add some more songs from this great album if not the whole entire album! Free was a great band & this is definitely one of my favorites.....
This album to me is Free's best album even better than Fire & Water which I happen to think is an overated album.... this is definitely Free at their best!!!!!
They r amazing mate you just check them out
good sound, gooood vid!!!
good sound !!!:!::!
