Listening to this now. Discovered it on a comp - Ladies Sing the Blues. They lyrics are very Aretha. Strong, stubborn, confident and unapologetic.

Ok, here's my thoughts. LOVE ME SOME REE! Now...I am glad you posted this because it was not LIVE as we thought. Live track was added to the Aretha "Yeah" album because Columbia didnt think it would fly just flat out. The entire album was studio recorded. Whatever the case, I love this. Long live The Queen. Dinah Washington was Queen of the Blues and Ree came right behind her with her brand of gospel/soul. Yep!
