Fun intro to an instrumental. I first heard this in my $90/month attic flat in Groton, Connecticut at 74 Ledyard Street in 1970 as my buddy had a thing for The Mothers and Zappa. So I gave him a poster of PhiZappaKrappa and a green ecology American flag that he used behind the driver of his hearse to which he promptly got arrested for to which he got a free attorney from the communist group whose name I can't remember but will remember when I least need to. Our commanding officer also showed up to his hearing as a character witness that wasn't necessary as the judge threw it out. Those were the days when I was making $450/month and ALWAYS had money in my pocket and not a care in the world except that the woman I really wanted to marry because she was out of this world beautiful dumped me in 1971 and then she herself and her young daughter were murdered in 1974 in Marlboro, Connecticut by the spree killer Paul John Knowles which was why I couldn't find her for the past 45 years as I just found out. It's life.

I wish I could take a wah-wah pedal to every rotten moment in my life. I'm sure they'd seem better.

This was used in a 1971 movie with Sofia Loren, called Lady Liberty. Also had Susan Sarandon, William Devane, Danny Devito and David Doyle.

This was recorded at the"Factory" 49 years ago, a club that was located in the extreme north Bronx, like 225th st and White Plains Rd. It was a joint that featured Young Rascals cover bands but then started booking real acts, like the Youngbloods, I think the Doors actually played there early on. But the Mothers playing there was intense, they looked dangerous onstage, long hair was just starting to take hold in the underground culture and these guys were the extreme. The square-er audience members were in shock/aghast at the spectacle, they came there to dance !, My friends and I were grooving and laughing. They were playing heavy stuff, but 2 short sets, Frank killing with the wahwah was for me the pinnacle, it was like the guitar was ""talking" the licks. The joint wasn't around long as it then became the Fantasy, and then the Fantasy East, then an appliance outlet !
