Frank had it in the guts how to get big feelings without overdramatizing. the way he accentuates the words is terrific. he balances on the thin line. and the tremble in his voice makes the song feel real.

I am fascinated by this song... pure concentrated sadness. Lyrics are a masterpiece. And Sinatra's performance is absolutely convincing.

No. No, they don't. Elvis Costello's collaboration with Bacharach was good, but didn't have Sinatra to sing it.
