Frank Sinatra - Change Partners Lyrics
Must you dance every dance with the same fortunate man?
You have danced with him since the music began.
Won't you change partners and dance with me?
Must you dance quite so close with your lips touching his face?
Can't you see
Won't you change partners and dance with me?
Ask him to sit this one out. while you're alone,
I'll tell the waiter to tell him he's wanted on the telephone.
You've been locked in his arms ever since heaven-knows-when.
Won't you change partners and then,
You may never want to change partners again.

I'll tell the waiter to tell him
He's wanted on the telephone ...
Incredibly funny and nasty. Superb!!!
Hi Mac
(~ ̄³ ̄)~
Great, great LP from 1967. Oh listen to in in any format you'd like (including here on YouTube), but nothing equals hearing that Reprise LP and watching it spin as you sit back & sip your martini. Suddenly 50 years have rolled back in you're in that era. And if you're outside on the patio, but all means get out that ashtray and light up a smoke! :-)
Frank and Jobim were "MAGIC" together. Never loses it's magic!
Fuckin love this song
Que coisa mais linda! Isso é obra de arte em forma de música. RIP Frank Sinatra and Tom Jobim.
By any artist this song is great. Sinatra makes it so you never want it to end.
As with Fred Astaire, especially in both the movies context and the following 'hypnotic dance'.
❤❤❤❤
Perfect.
Recorded on January 30, 1967.
Wow, today is January 30, 2019.
What a coincidence I thought of this song today.
Must you dance every dance
With the same fortunate man?
You have danced with him since the music began,
Won't you change partners and dance with me?
Must you dance quite so close,
With your lips touching his face?
Can't you see I'm longing to be in his place?
Won't you change partners and dance with me?
Ask him to sit this one out,
And while you're alone,
I'll tell the waiter to tell him
He's wanted on the telephone,
You've been locked in his arms
Ever since heaven-knows-when,
Won't you change partners and then,
You may never want to change partners again.
Ask him to sit this one out,
And while you're alone,
I'll tell the waiter to tell him
He's wanted on the telephone,
You've been locked in his arms
Ever since heaven-knows-when,
Won't you change partners and then,
You may never have to change partners again.

This song reminds me of my handsome, classy father! He loved Sinatra! R.I.P. daddy! We will have that glass of red wine when I get up there!
My father just passed and introduced me to Sinatra. I hope that all four of us will share a bottle in heaven!
James Raulerson sounds awesome brother! God bless you!
James Raulerson I am sorry for your loss dear brother. If you feel up to it. Reach me on facebook Stephen A. Greenberg. You are a true gentleman, I am sure you made your father proud

Beautiful! Shows that Sinatra had many sides as a singer.
