Foundations, The - Baby, Now That I've Found You Lyrics
Baby, (ba-da-da-da)
Now that I've found you,
I can't let you go,
(Ba-da-da),
Build my world around you,
(Oooh)
Baby, even though,
You don't need me,
You don't need me,
Baby, (ba-da-da-da)
Now that I've found you,
I can't let you go,
(Ba-da-da),
Build my world around you,
(Oooh)
Baby, even though,
You don't need me,
You don't need me,
Baby, baby since first we met,
I knew in this heart of mine,
(I wanna tell you)
The love we had,
Could not be bad,
I played it right,
And bide my time,
All my life I've waited for somebody,
To give me love like you,
Now you tell me that you wanna leave me,
(Darlin' I just can't let you)
Baby, (ba-da-da-da)
Now that I've found you,
I can't let you go,
(Ba-da-da),
Build my world around you,
I need you so,
(Oooh)
Baby, even though,
You don't need me,
You don't need me,
Baby, (ba-da-da-da)
Now that I've found you,
I can't let you go,
(Ba-da-da),
Build my world around you,
I need you so,
(Oooh)
Baby, even though,
You don't need me,
You don't need me,
All my life been looking for somebody,
To give me love like you,
Now you tell me that you wanna leave me,
(Darlin' I just can't let you)
Baby, (ba-da-da-da)
Now that I've found you,
I can't let you go,
(Ba-da-da),
Build my world around you,
I need you so,
(Oooh)
Baby, even though,
You don't need me,
You don't need me,
Baby, (ba-da-da-da)
Now that I've found you,
I can't let you go,
(Ba-da-da),
Build my world around you,
I need you so,
(Oooh)
Baby, even though,
You don't need me,
You don't need me,
Baby, (ba-da-da-da)
Now that I've found you,
I can't let you go,
(Ba-da-da),
Build my world around you,
I need you so,
(Oooh)
Baby, even though,
You don't need me,
You don't need me,
Baby, (ba-da-da-da)
Now that I've found you,
I can't let you go,
(Ba-da-da),
Build my world around you,
I need you so,
(Oooh)
Baby, even though,
You don't need me,
You don't need me,

Spring of 1968!..My Crush on Judy the Twin across the Street...5th Grade Action!!
Not only a great song ,but you have to admire the Racial Harmony of the Group members. This was not an easy time in our Country, but with the Tension back then ,they pulled this off ,and charted off of this song.
Crisp and clear music! I love the 60s music. Music that inspires👍
My dad's bar in Rahway NJ!! In the late 70's and 80's The Shanty

Another great song from the Foundations. I love this song and Build Me Up Buttercup.
the best covers of this song was made by Lauren Waterworth an anotheer by Alison Krauss.
the composer was tony McAulay and Mc Leon number one in 1967
Awesome.
'60's: Best hairstyles, and I'm not easily convinced, I'm an 80's guy!
I was born in the wrong generation. Confirmed.
Sing it Clem!
What a fantastic group they were. I wish they had been more famous in America. Just had their 2 45's, and it wasn't enough. What a voice. It sounds as good today as 50+ years ago. So much good music in the late 60's.
Such a great song!!
Can't believe I forgot about this song! This and "Build Me Up, Buttercup" are such great songs. Always a good way to brighten my day.

One of the best of the sixties
Is this song does not make you happy, you are purely evil!😖

Wow that's awesome!!!
I had no idea that the Allison Krauss version was a cover until I heard the foundations original on the sirius XM radio oldies channel in my sister's car.Her xm receiver displays all the info about the song that's embedded in the signal.
This song came out 9 years before I was born, but it's one that reminds me of my freshman year in high school.
Interesting story about the Foundations. Even though they were a British singing group, many of its members were from Bermuda and Jamaica.
Terrible syntax.
Wow love this track.
75 people dislike it because they are still looking and haven't found ;)

I thought this was Alison Krauss's original
Mikey's Oldies But Goodies.
I believe this band was the first multicultural band to make it big in the UK
Frankie Valli And The Four Seasons would have made a fabulous version of this one.
Kennneth Treistman Yes!
It would been iconic and majestic. They got "Working my way back to you"
