Mike was around 80% of the band, He did most song concepts, lyrics, drums (with help of drumer), guitar, bass... he mixed the songs to the final version.

of course Chester was SUPER ULTRA MEGA important to the band, but Mike did sooooooo much!

I think it's a pretty simple (to udnerstand) song lyrically. I am not insulting it... the more genius the lyrics are the more people can relate to them. And I can perfectly can relate to it and understand it... And it's kind of obvious he does not mean what you said. I am not saying your interpretation is bad. But looking at the whole context of the song it's obvious what he means. Take a second look at it.

Linkin Park is Mike Shinoda + Chester beggington and 2 or 3 other guys, Fort Minor is just Mike & Mike only well him and occasionally Styles of Beyond but besides that LP dosent equal FM, and the music styles are completely diffrent too.
