I remember playing this song on cassette in like 1982 on a school trip (we called them "Field trips" ) to Busch Gardens, Tampa. Played it on a regular cassette player out loud with no headphones---this was before everybody had their first Walkman a year later.

I remember the exact moment I heard this at my sisters (then) boyfriends house, in late 1979. It was also the first time I heard the Highway to Hell album from AC/DC. I was 13 and had no clue as to what was hitting me but I knew I was onto something incredible.
Things had changed a lot for rock and roll by 1979 but compared to most of the pop shit out today, it blows everything out of the water and always will.
