Dudes this album was great, it was raw and full of emotion, heavy and catchy as hell. What more could you ask for? I think "Wasted Youth" is still one of the best albums around. Of course nothing compares to "Changes" but it's all good, idk why people are hating on them so much??

I like the idea of what they went for on this, but it literally goes from bone crunching breakdown to pop-punk-esque chorus.... just too much of a transition imo. Still not as bad as everyone seems to make it out to be. If you like Changes so much, just go listen to it. The album hasn't gone anywhere.

I don't see what makes this bad its a little different but that's it honestly the 1st album wasn't honestly that good in my opinion except vengeance but the last 3 were just perfect they all had something unique about everyone of them. Relentless is what changed ftfd in my opinion and made me love them, there just doing something different its not necessarily a bad thing :/

Exactly! It seems whenever a hardcore band comes out with it's third or fourth album people decide to hate it before the even hear a single note. So then they find poor reasons for why it's "Bad", just because they don't want to like it. I'm sure that the vast majority of people why complain about the production of this album don't know the first thing about recording, mixing, or mastering music.

Seriously, liking something is preference anyways. So arguing is just pointless.

i think this album sounds alright, but then again its on youtube. to all the people hating on the production go pick up a hard copy and see if it makes a differenece, it should.

i did, it sucked. the gitars were awful the drumming was retarded. the singing atrocious, the catchy melodic-ness this band is capable of producing clearly wasnt there, and their producer is fucking idiot and cant produce shit. Hell, Pierce the Veil went harder than these clowns. and thats saying a lot but at least chad and more importantly, Andrew is back to save this band from Doom.

All these people who don't know shit about production keep saying the production is bad. Anyone who has spent any amount of time in recording would know this is far from a bad job. I'll admit it's different, but just because it's not all kick trigger and snare samples doesn't mean it's bad.

I don't understand how you guys can say the clean vocals suck. It's the same Dylan, and he's singing the same. And so what if it sounds catchy? It's what gets stuck in people's head and makes you want to listen to the song. What's so wrong with that? Not Every FTFD album is going to sound the exact same.

Everyone that thinks this album sucks really needs to actually listen to the whole thing. It's one of my favorite ftfd albums. Hate it how everyone's like "oh its sucks I miss Changes" When this is fine. "Go listen to When Push Comes To Shove" or "Sober" And then tell me this album still sucks.

Relentless and Changes are awesome, Backburner was disappointing.
They seem to be drifting further from the band they used to be/could be.

the drums recording is what brings it down, guitar and vox are fine.

no doubt changes was the best record, i still love like the band, it just seems like when Andrew left the band was never the same, the guys a great drummer and really added something to the band , and im really glad hes doing well in the ghost inside, plus "changes" had chad on vocals whos a fucking legend, but i really liked ftfds record relentless too, that was sick as fuck, but i miss the old for the fallen dreams too

the beginning of this song is so fucking raw (reminiscent of their old stuff), i was actually excited for the rest of the album...then the chorus came in. its not that im against clean vocals, they just don't blend them very well in my opinion.

I always realize how amazing a band is and how much I actually love them right after I see them live and don't pay very much attention because they are not the band I was there to see. >_<

I'm a diehard FTFD fan, but I can't help but admit that I still like Changes the best. But I keep my mind open; I don't bitch about their new sound so much (it has its merits, but I don't care for the vocal melodies). But with the release of every album, I keep hoping for something that will at least be able to equate to that raw passion in Changes. It doesn't have to sound the same; I'm not one of those people who want the same album over and over. I just kinda miss the feel of Changes.
